Thinking about some of those who have gone before us, specifically people who unknowingly formed what would become the basis of our lives today, I think of Henry Ford. We would not have the automobile or many other inventions if it weren’t for the real pioneers, the real entrepreneurs, who worked at home and invented, literally created some of the things that we so take for granted. We get grumpy if our electronics malfunction or our cars don’t start. Here is how this all began.

Henry Ford (Ju
ly 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was born one of six children. He left home at the young age of 16 to move to Detroit, Michigan to work for the Edison Illuminating Company. Henry Ford became the Chief Engineer in 1893. He had only been an engineer for 2 years when he received this promotion. The promotion provided him additional time and money to devote his attention to his many personal experiments. By 1896, Henry had completed his first self-propelled vehicle, known as the Quadricycle. This one person vehicle had four wire wheels, much like a bicycle, and steered with a tiller much like a boat. While it had no reverse it had two forward speeds. The Quadricycle became what you know as simply the “car”.
Henry Ford had two failed attempts to start a company that would manufacture automobiles, but in 1903, he was finally successful in becoming the Vice-President and Chief Engineer of the Ford Motor Company. Henry Ford invented the Model T in 1908 and revolutionized the entire transportation industry, if not created it as we know it. He was an industrialist and was and ‘father’ of the assembly line and mass production. This made the way for much less expensive goods to be produced, and lowered the cost of production for many technical and business ideas and innovations. Henry Ford combined both precision manufacturing and the standardization of interchangeable parts, and then added a continuously moving assembly line in 1913.
By 1918, only 10 years after it first hit the street, half of all automobiles across America were from the Ford Motor Company and were Model T’s! He was a genius and became one of the best known people in the world. The range of his influence and organization surpassed much of what was known in the world before that time and continues today. Little did many know at the time, but the franchise system that Henry Ford created allowed for vehicles with the Ford name on them to be on all six continents. He left most of his wealth to the Ford Foundation. His vision of wealth inspired him to arrange for his family to control their wealth forever. Many today are unaware of how to manage their wealth, to make money, grow their money and how to leave money for their descendents, especially working at home.
Be Famous: Influence, Inspiration and YOU
Mr. Ford was a man whose impact on America proved revolutionary. He provided the original symbol to represent originality, intelligence, and independence! Henry Ford is considered to be one of America’s most creative minds. Think how your life would be different if it weren’t for the dreams and countless hours spent by Mr. Ford. We could still be walking or riding behind a horse if he had not taken action. He worked at home and yet it was a single “bright idea” that was the start of it all. I am sure that if Mr. Ford hadn’t taken some type of action, you might just not be reading this as a blog post on a computer, especially from your office! The commute we could all do without, but the ability to see our world would forever be changed as a result of his mighty imagination.
What will you do with your ideas? Will you allow them to grow old and stagnant? I find it very interesting that if I don’t at least write a short note when I have an inspired idea, that it can fade into the air, much like fog on a mountain or a cloud in the sky. I actually have difficulty remembering what it was! I can then go back to those notes and at times I am astounded that as I am working at home, I find those notes, exactly when I need them. I find them exactly where I can easily find them, sometimes with other notes that create additional ideas. Writing things down isn’t just for those who are ‘older’! Inventors, Masterminds and Entrepreneurs have done this for centuries!

Gratitude: The ART of Receiving!
Gratitude is the art of receiving, and is typically thought of only when we have received a gift… or when we give one. Who doesn’t want to receive gratitude for a gift when we have taken our time to choose something for someone special? It matters not if the gift is of our time, for example to assist a neighbor in planting the spring 
flowers together by the mailboxes, or if it is purchased from the most valuable collection in the most expensive store. A gift is a gift and learning how to receive it enriches our lives by teaching us how to graciously continue to give. Have something to share.
Most do not realize that one of the greatest valleys that create “scarcity” in our lives is not recognizing the mountain we must climb. Climbing that mountain, to gratitude, wealth, riches and prosperity begins with one small step. It is really just learning how to graciously receive. So how do we learn how to graciously receive? When do we learn this graceful move and who are our BEST teachers?
Learning How to Receive!
Receiving anything graciously comes from learning how to accept any gift. As young children we were ‘taught’ which gifts we could receive. We were taught by our parents and caregivers to accept the gift of their love. It may have not always looked like they knew what “love” message they were actually sending, and this is because their “teachers”, probably didn’t know either. However, the things we were taught, directly impact how we receive. How graciously we receive, with gratitude, is a mirror image of how we think of ourselves. These messages may be so subtle we miss them day to day. As a result, we don’t know what we deserve. We all deserve THIS!
Our idea of deserving was reinforced as we grew up. We may have not recognized that we all deserved the love of our parents and family. We ALL deserved a world that is fun and fair. But, often it isn’t! Some of us may have a memory of not getting as many Valentine’s in our box as someone else or not winning the 
ribbon in a race, even though there was a tie at the finish line. It was at that moment when some of us decided that we weren’t worthy. The motion picture began to roll in our heads. The title of the movie “I am not Worthy.” This allowed us to discount ourselves, pushing off compliments, and learning very quickly not to receive, with gratitude, what is often right in front of us! Have you refused to receive any of your gifts?
Gratitude, lives within each of us and some name gratitude with actions, and some with ‘mind’ pictures. Being truly grateful is learning to accept all the good that comes to us. At the heart of gratitude is how we have learned to receive, even if we had to learn it all over again as adults.
Live Gratitude!
Those who “live” gratitude might use some of the following actions:
- Gratitude warms my soul, making me laugh
- Gratitude washes away the fears, making me calm
- Gratitude is sweet like success, making me proud of the good I do
- Gratitude makes me smile and giggle at cute babies and animals
- Gratitude floods my brain with endorphins, giving me peace
Those who “live” gratitude might use these ‘mind pictures’:
- Gratitude is a warm sunshine washed beach
- Gratitude is a sky filled with stars on a moonlit night
- Gratitude is a brand new vehicle in my favorite make, model, year and color
- Gratitude is the model dream home we now live in
- Gratitude is receiving anything graciously, giving me a sense of well being
Gratitude is the ART of Receiving!
Show your gratitude. Value all gifts received. Let those around you hear your gratitude, because if it remains silent, it is lost forever! You have much to be thankful for. Listing at least 5 things you are thankful for each day will allow you to begin to express your gratitude in a very simple way. Can’t sleep? Read them to yourself as you turn off the light, (Another thing to be thankful for!), tuck yourself in and close your eyes peacefully to rest every night.
No matter what you experience, make sure gratitude is a part of your life each and every day. Without it smiles are not shared and love is not manifested.

SUCCESS STORIES: BE Famous Like Thomas Alva Edison Working At Home
I was thinking about some of those who have gone before us, specifically people who unknowingly formed what would become the basis of our lives today. We would not have the electric light or many other inventions if it weren’t for the real pioneers, the real entrepreneurs, who worked at home and invented, literally created some of the things that we take for granted. We get grumpy if our electronics malfunction or don’t appear to do what we think they should do! Thomas Edison is considered to be one of America’s most creative minds.
Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) invented the phonograph in 1878 and the incandescent light bulb a year later, in 1879. This single invention took 10,000+ failures before he was successful! He is the only American to have patented an invention every year for 63 consecutive years, beginning in 1868! His drive and determination changed the face of history. Altogether, Edison held 1,093 patents including a telephone transmitter that led to commercial telephone and radio broadcasting.
Take these inventions steps further and now you can see the framework that was laid for your favorite phone and the millions of apps that are available to you today! If you were sent home to make money with the raw materials to make the light bulb, would you have tried 10,000 times?
Using a mobile studio and a photographic device he designed, Edison also created the first apparatus for projecting motion pictures. The invention, along with George Eastman’s refinement of film, set the stage for the creation of the motion picture industry. Avatar and any other great films might not have ever been dreamed of without the technology that Mr. Edison created primarily working at home!
A single “bright idea” was the start of it all. I am unsure which ideas came first, but if Mr. Edison hadn’t taken some type of action, you might just not be reading this as a blog post on a computer! 
It is appropriate that the creator of so many products, a man whose impact on America proved revolutionary, provided the symbol to represent originality and intelligence, the shining light bulb!
Another person who has gone before us is my mother. Today would have been my mother’s 84th birthday. No, she didn’t create the first designer purse or anything, but she left me with a desire to learn from the best, learn about financial freedom, time freedom and making money working at home. I recognize all she did to have me be my best!

Is GRATITUDE Gone Already?
Is Gratitude GONE Already???
This is the time of the year when the sweet, delicious aroma and the radiant color of gratitude seems to have faded like the fragrant buttery perfume of the holiday dinner rolls and the twinkling lights from last year’s Christmas tree. Funny that gift giving seems to take gratitude right out of us. In years past, I was reluctant to admit that almost a month after Christmas (sometimes longer depending on when the holiday gift was actually given) I had not written one thank you note. Working at home and yet, I had so much to be thankful for this year!
Gratitude Written!
“Written!!” You exclaim…. Yes written. You know, you purchase a card or a package of cards at the store with the words, “Thank You” or “ Thank You for the gift”, printed somewhere on the inside or the outside? Find a nice pen and about 10 uninterrupted minutes and you have all you need. That is except you must remember what was given and by whom. This is why it is much better to do this as the gifts come in, that way by the third week of January, they are all done and you can move on to other forms of gratitude! I like being thankful for those from your past to your newest business associate. Gratitude has no boundaries!
I recently read a story of another person who had decided to give 365 thank you notes in a year. Stories like this always make me think that I am not only “Too Blessed to be Stressed”, but I am one of the most fortunate people on this planet. I have all the necessities and on top of that, I have businesses, yes, businesses that allow me to make money from home, providing a debt proof lifestyle with financial freedom! Always when I thank someone, it comes back to me multiplied! Clients, Mentees, Business Associates, it doesn’t matter, when I thank them, more business comes my way. You will never know ALL that a Thank You note can do for the person you send it to!
It’s been a while since you have written one? Let me suggest a simple easy format.
Choose a card. An email is not the same. You can always be grateful on email, but getting real ‘snail’ mail is very special. I always open the card envelopes first, don’t you? They will too.
- Be Specific, about what you are thankful for. If you received a gift, specify the color or something that you really like about the gift. Be thankful for the time that was spent in choosing the gift especially for you.
- Mark the time, the gift was given. Was it given for a special occasion? If not, then was the gift even more special? Let the giver know how much you appreciated what they did and how it will be something you will always remember.
- Keep it Simple. The note does not have to be long. It could simply be 4-5 sentences that state how the other person’s kindness makes you feel.
No matter what, make sure gratitude is a part of your life each and every day. Without it smiles are not shared and love is not manifested.

U – Until You Succeed!! That is how long you must think, & act, & think, & act again. How much do you want your desired riches, your desired wealth, your desired prosperity??

S – SOON! This is not the time to quit. “Sooner or Later” is not the time to quit either. There is no time on your watch, phone, calendar or day-timer that is the right time to quit!

A – After Weeks…. There is more time for thought and action. No, it is still not the time to quit. Reflection and Gratitude will begin to take hold.
R – Riches Are Closer Than YOU think. Understand that you will be completing some type of honest work in order to receive your reward. It may not come as you expect, so stay open and see what transpires.
E – Expert Council will bring you more advanced ideas and thoughts. It will help you stay focused because you will hear and see someone speaking to you. (Even better when written down!) Get your expert council.

T – The Formation of A Single IDEA has made many richer. What is YOUR great, new, idea? Do you realize that the best of anything, book, story, music, lesson, message, cookie, etc. has yet to be created, written or produced?
H – How Hard Will The Going Get? Does it matter? The payoff will bring you more than you bargained for in the first place. Nothing will seem easier once you see all that you can do!
I – In YOUR Own Mind!! What can you bring to the world? You must not leave this world without delivering your special gift. This idea will produce personal growth, income, wealth, abundance and prosperity.
N – Never STOP! Even when you hear NO! Usually when someone says No, it is because they really don’t KNOW. Very few turn down riches when they understand what is really being offered!

Success Stories: Opportunities Missed Could Be Costly!
Real opportunities result in those times in which brutally honest, raw, yet tenderized memories are made. A missed opportunity is the reminder of something you passed up in your life. It can come in the form of a Facebook friend request from a long lost love. It can come in the unpacking of an old resume and cover letter for a job that you never sent in. You remember… you had no confidence and therefore someone else got that “dream job” you thought you wanted and were ready for. It could come when you visit your high school, for the reunion, and see the pictures of those you ‘hung out with’. What about an opportunity or missed business venture you may have missed? With a new business being opened every 8 minutes online, what are you waiting for?
Facebook Opportunities:
The Facebook inquiry, the old resume, cover letter and the high school reunion will marinate your most tender memories. However, if they are acted upon in a way that takes all those involved into account you will leave with more than you came with. For some that will mean that the “Not Now” button should be selected on Facebook instead of the “Accept – (Come Get Me!)” button. It may mean that the memories you have treasured for months or years are all you will ever have. Looking at the old resume, you may realize now is the time to begin to build a business for yourself, work at home.
It is not unusual for business opportunities/ventures online to appear very similar. Don’t look back. Look at the best current business opportunities and ventures. Realize how missing out now could be very costly too. It is important to remember the GOOD reasons you passed on some of those opportunities. Your reasons are important because they are personally yours.
How do you know what business opportunity or venture is BEST for you now? You already know the answer to this. Yes, it is critical that you understand why you are going into business in the first place. Next, what is it that will bring you success? Why will the opportunity/venture you are considering be as successful as you want it to be? What will provide you with the best possible outcome for your success stories? New Beginning!

Raking Leaves or Raking in Money with Network Marketing?
It’s that time of year. The nights are cooler and the sugars in the leaves on the trees are at their highest. As this process proceeds, we are magnificently reminded that the energy of the earth once again is shifting. It is a sort-of colorful hunkering down of the foliage of the earth. A ‘tucking in’ for a long winter nap before spring awakens the seedlings and they rise from the earth once again. Raking in money with Network Marketing happens by following the map to the Abundance Archway. Most would agree, less REALLY IS MORE, especially if you have to rake all those leaves! Wouldn’t you rather be working at home?
Network Marketing
Network Marketing provides everyone involved with an opportunity for abundance that has yet to be matched in any other industry. Most who realize this, have joined at least one MLM in their past, some secretly. Many more have made an abundance of money with more than one MLM. How do we build a business in abundance? The MLM opportunity or business venture you have joined, probably does not guarantee their “vehicle” will take you to Abundance Archway. However, how you manage your mind will determine where your vehicle will take you. Where is your vehicle taking you? Do you have the map to Abundance Archway? If you live on Scarcity Street in the city of “Scar-city”, that pile of leaves doesn’t look that large, but what you don’t know is your mindset is blocking your driveway and the wind is blowing your map right out of the window! Scar-city is where there are more leaves than you will ever be able to rake, no matter how many prospects you speak with, or how many conferences you attend. The chocolates look all the same, nestled in their little white paper cups, homey and separated nicely from the others. There could be nougats, covered cherries, chocolates with nuts and sometimes coconut bathed in smooth chocolate. Mostly they look pretty much the same. The ones with nuts may be a little more distinguishable but even then, how do you find the ones with cashews rather than the ones with Brazil nuts? Then of course there are Milk chocolates and or Dark Chocolates, hiding their secrets insides. Finding a wealth creation business venture can be very much the same.
It is not unusual for business ventures on the internet to appear like they are all the same. Many of the ventures have you purchase something easy and small. Then there is more and more information. Many promise you a lifestyle and abundant riches, sometimes overnight. All offer to take some money off your hands. How do you know that a business venture will produce what it says it will? The leader of the pack always has made lots of money. If you haven’t yet had that experience, how do you know which one to choose? Should I pick the Orange Nougat or the Maple and Walnut Crunch? Finding a wealth creation venture online, (flavor) that matches your taste really must fit your palate, your lifestyle, your tolerance for risk and your budget.
Is this ‘upsell’ an indication that could lead you down the path to “well, not so much” integrity? Not necessarily. This is actually a way business people determine who is actively seeking the product they are showcasing and how quickly the prospect wants to get it. Sometimes the chocolates are so tempting that it is best to purchase two boxes, one for the gift and one to eat on the way to do the rest of the shopping! This is the prospect most working at home business ventures are looking for. Eager, knowledgeable, quick decision makers, who won’t need to be ‘handheld’ or ‘babysat’. Handhelds are for smart phones and babysitting is best when it is your grandchildren! I looked for some very specific things with an online business venture.
FIRST, I looked for others who were just like me. I wanted to join a group of people who were not only looking for integrity in thier business working at home, but those who love that yummy, melt in your mouth savory flavor. Once I joined, I knew my integrity would be strengthened by associating with others who know how to build wealth and how to secure it. I also knew I would be securing friendships for life.
SECOND, are they giving you anything of value away for FREE? A wealth creation business that can afford to give information or a portion of a product away for FREE, sends an automatic sense of living in abundance. I figure that as long as the information is FREE, this is a golden opportunity for the business venture to show what the rest of the products may be like, some of the other flavors, if you will.
THIRD, I looked for any money back guarantees. Not that I was looking for that going in, but knowing a guarantee is there calms my fears that others I share my work at home business venture with may need one. Especially, if they have bitten into that unknown flavor, one they haven’t tasted before, and could become savory and distinguishable on their tongue. A favorite flavor perhaps?
IF WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR is fabulous friendships, a kinship for creating wealth, and the lifestyle you create for yourself. I found these things in this business venture. This has changed my life. I know you have heard it before, but you have tasted chocolate and that wonderful chocolate experience keeps you going back for more right?
